Megan
Lamb Room
Hello! I’m Megan! I started working as a Warm World in August 2021 and I am currently a Lead Teacher in the Lamb Room. The teaching program at Warm World – in which we are exposed to seasoned teachers and mentored by them – attracted me to the job opportunity. The friendly environment makes Warm World a great place to work – I have enjoyed getting to know the staff, parents, and kids! My favorite moments as a childcare provider are those when my kids tell me that they love me.
I am originally from Two Harbors, MN and I have two older brothers and a younger sister. I grew up with a lot of younger cousins and children around all the time. I started babysitting at age 10. In addition, my best friend’s mom ran an in-home daycare, and I often spent my free-time there helping and playing with the kids. While I was still in high school, I was fortunate to be able to take college courses at the Lake Superior College - Duluth through a dual credit Post-Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) program. After high school, I continued college at the University of Wisconsin in River Falls.
Prior to working at Warm World, I was employed as a nanny for a family with two kids (ages 1.5 and 6 years). In my free time, I race motorcross, enjoy working out and love to spend time with my family.
