McKenna

Hi! I’m McKenna!  I am born and raised in Minnesota! I recently joined Warm World in August 2022 as a Teacher’s Aide in the Bunny Room.  I have always wanted to work at a daycare center and was honored to be hired by Warm World.  I love the Warm World community because everyone is so welcoming, and it makes coming to work amazing.

As a 13-year-old, I jumped at the opportunity to babysit.  I have cared for children of all ages from a wide variety of families.  I also have experience at an elementary school leading small groups of kids and volunteering in a classroom. I have taken a few education classes at Century College and look forward to continuing my education in childcare. Childcare is very rewarding, and I especially enjoy getting to teach children new concepts.  I love witnessing a kid’s excitement as they learn something for the first time! My favorite age of child to care for is the toddler age because they are learning new skills so rapidly! 

In my free time, I enjoy taking pictures, traveling, and shopping.  During the Minnesota summers, I love to go jet skiing and tubing.  I am a dog lover and grew up having Labradors.  I look forward to becoming a dog mom in the future!
